 Betting Type 1 - Fixed Odds

What is a Fixed Odds bet?
This is the easiest form of betting. You only have to predict the result of one event correctly to win the bet. Your stake multiplied by the odds is your possible win. There will be three choices either HomeWin, Draw and AwayWin

Example:
1X2 Odds Man Utd : 2.25 Draw : 3.20 Arsenal : 2.45

You place $10 on a victory of Manchester United. The odds amount to 2.25. If Manchester wins, your payout is: 10 x 2.25 (odds for the victory) = $22.5. A net win of $12.50 (=22.5-10).

You place $10 on a draw. The odds amount to 2.75. If draw, your payout is: 10 x 3.20 (odds for the victory) = $32. A net win of $22 (=32-10).

You place $10 on a victory of Arsenal. The odds amount to 2.45. If Arsenal wins, your payout is: 10 x 2.45 (odds for the victory) = $24.5. A net win of $14.50 (=24.5-10).

It's easy and the most exciting bet. But becareful, the low odds on favourite teams may lead you to making the wrong choices.
 
 Betting Type 2 - Asian Handicap

What is a Asian Handicap bet?

Don't be put off by the concept of Asian Handicap betting. It is a great way to bet on football and really quite simple once you understand the basics. I personally like Asian Handicap because they remove the draw from the equation. At the start you know whether a draw works for or against you and as a quarter of all football games end in draws, this is an important consideration.

Asian Handicap is a way to maximise the earning potential and minimise the risk for each game. Not all bookies offer Asian Handicap - and as with all odds, it is well worth shopping around to get the best for Asian Handicap. I run a stable of bookie accounts accordingly but three are outstanding in this area - Bet365. I recommend them personally - because I use them successfully myself.

Asian Handicap is a form of betting where the perceived weaker team (or underdog) is given a number of goals head start. Conversely, the team perceived to be superior (the favourite) is penalised or ‘handicapped’ an equal number of goals in an attempt to make the two teams equal for betting purposes.

The favorite has to overcome the handicap, and will have it taken away from its final score. The handicap for the favorite is preceded by a minus (-). The underdog is given a 'head-start', and will have it added to its final score. The handicap for the underdog is preceded by a plus (+).

The wider the gap between the two teams, the greater the number of goals head start is given to the weaker team. If the two teams’ on-field ability is considered to be approximately equal, no handicap is given to either team.

Asian Handicap can be very complicated if you do not understand, because sometime you may end up win or lose half of your stake if the Asian Handicap odds has 1/4.
 
 Betting Type 3 - Combo Bet /Parlay

What is a Combo bet?
A very attractive form of betting that allows you to combine the outcome of several events. You have the possibility of placing up to ten bets with only one stake. Your possible payout results from the multiplication of all individual odds. To win the bet you have to predict all results correctly. This combo bet not limited on 1X2 but can be bet on Asian Handicap too.

Example:

You place $10 on the following combination bet:

Manchester United to win (odds 1.5), Chelsea to win (odds 1.7), Arsenal to draw (odds 3.5), Liverpool to win (odds 2.1).

If ALL outcomes are forecasted correctly, your payout is:

$10 x 1.5 x 1.7 x 3.5 x 2.1 = $187.43. A net win of $177.43 (=187.43-10).

Example:

You place bet on:

1) Valencia to win over Osasuna (odds 1.25); 2) Alaves to win over Rayo Vallecano (odds 3.1) and 3) Real Madrid to win over Real Sociedad (odds 1.22)

to your combo bet of $100. If all teams win, a total payout of $100 x 1.25 x 3.1 x 1.22 = $473 will be credited to your betting account.

* But if any of the combo bet lose, you lose your $100 even if you win on the other 2 games. Not recommended, as this is far too hard to play and predict
